Gonzalo Barboza is the managing partner of Arochi & Lindner’s Spain office. He has more than 15 years of experience in Intellectual Property handling prosecution and litigation matters for trademarks and patents. His practice also includes strategy and counseling on advertising and marketing, domain names and trade secrets.

Gonzalo’s work in Spain, Latin America and the United States, both as a law firm practitioner and as in- house lawyer, has given him a business-oriented approach and a truly international global expertise that allows him to provide world-class legal counsel on complex international transactions, multijurisdictional disputes and global portfolio management.

Prior to joining A&L in 2014, Gonzalo was Director of IP for the Americas and Regional IP Counsel for Red Bull GmbH. During this 5-year period, he was recognized by Legal 500 Corporate Counsel who praised him as one of the most influential and innovative in-house attorneys working in the Americas Region.

Gonzalo is an active member of ASIPI, ECTA, IACC, INTA and MARQUES. Currently, he is a member of the International Trademark Association (INTA) Leadership Development Committee, and of the Association of European Trade Mark Owners (MARQUES) Dispute Resolution Committee. He is also a frequent speaker at several international conferences.
