Guido Hackländer has been part of the Patents Department at the offices of Arochi & Lindner in Spain since 2014. Guido is Senior Agricultural Engineer and has more than 30 years of experience in patents, utility models, and industrial design practices, specializing in the areas of mechanical, electro-mechanical, biochemical, and pharmaceutical engineering.
Guido has distinguished himself as a technical specialist providing consultation in strategies of protection, as well as in the initiation, filing, and processing of patent litigations. His practice includes conducting prior art searches, analysis of potential risks concerning the infringement of third party rights, and the preparation of technical opinions on patentability of inventions and freedom to operate, as well as in drafting, initiating, and filing Spanish, PCT, and European. In addition, he has extensive experience in initiating and filing oppositions to third-party patents before the European Patent Office.
Guido has participated in numerous panels and seminars on patents, at various public and private institutions. Guido is an active member of the Spanish AIPPI Group and the main author of the presentation of the said group in question Q158, which addressed the patentability of commercial methods for the congress that took place in Melbourne in 2001.
