Karen Calvo is an attorney who has been working for the Information and Communication Technologies and Copyright department at the Mexican office of Arochi & Lindner since February of 2017. She has more than 4 years of experience in intellectual property litigation, management of the copyright registration process, monitoring procedures with the National Copyrights Institute and provides legal assistance to our clients in the field of copyright and intellectual property litigation.

 

She holds a law degree from the Pan-American University and is currently working towards earning her master’s degree in Intellectual Property Law, Copyright Litigation and New Technologies at the Pan-American University.

 

Her practice focuses on developing and implementing strategies in the fields of copyrights, personal data, social networks and administrative litigation before the Mexican Institute of Industrial Property (IMPI), the District Courts and Collegiate Courts, the Attorney General’s Office (FGR), the Supreme Court of Justice and the National Institute for Transparency, Access to Information and Personal Data Protection (INAI).
