Graduated from the National Autonomous University of Mexico with a specialization in Pharmacology and Toxicology drug research. Research focused on the metabolism of antidiabetic drugs and medicinal plants, as well as the analysis of their interactions.

Certificate in intellectual property from the Universidad Anáhuac, Puebla, as well as courses in intellectual property from the International Patent Office (WIPO), World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), Mexican Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property A.C (AMPPI), and the Inter-American Association of Intellectual Property (ASIPI).
