Alberto Santos has been an associate in the Administrative Litigation Department at Arochi &Lindner Mexico since 2016.

His experience in administrative and tax litigation has made him stand out in the cases entrusted to the matters of foreign appellations of origin, health and patent cancellation. Alberto specializes in competitions related to the recognition and protection of foreign appellations of origin in our country.

He holds a law degree from the Universidad Panamericana and postgraduate studies in Administrative Law and a Diploma in Telecommunications Law and Legal Aspects from the National Autonomous University of Mexico.

Alberto has a proven track record of dealing with a variety of notable cases in pharmaceutical care, food and beverage, commercial and professional services, real estate and in particular cases.

He has extensive experience as a Graduate in Administrative and Tax Law, handling cases derived from health regulations, public contracts, determinations of tax credits, cancellation of concessions, among others. His professional development in the Firm stands out for the interposition of means of defense related to the sanitary registration of medicines, cancellation of patents, recognition and protection of foreign appellations of origin and the commercial field (consumer protection).

Alberto has worked for more than 10 years in administrative and tax litigation, including the procedures for the adoption of conclusive agreements before the Attorney General’s Office for the Defense of the Taxpayer (PRODECON).
