Catalina Lozada Brown is an associate in the Trademarks Department of Arochi and Lindner’s Mexico office since 2011. She has more than 17 years of experience in intellectual property issues advising on strategy, prosecution, and portfolio management matters, particularly in the areas of trademarks, trade dress and designs.

Her expertise includes handling trademark prosecution, cancellations, oppositions and appeals, as well as contractual matters such as licenses, coexistence agreements, and collaboration agreements for national and international businesses in Information Technology, fashion and luxury goods, fast-moving consumer goods, and the food and beverage industries. She also conducts intellectual property due diligence investigations for corporate transactions and financing matters, as well as prepares assignments, security agreements and recordals.

Catalina holds a Law Degree from the Universidad Iberoamericana (UIA), an Intellectual Property Specialization Degree from the Universidad Panamericana and a Corporate Law Diploma Degree from the UIA. She is an active member of the Mexican Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AMPPI) and the International Trademark Association (INTA). Currently, she serves on AMPPI’s Trademarks and Interdisciplinary Affairs Committees, as well as INTA’s NTA Non-Traditional Trademarks Committee.
