Georgina Pimentel is an associate in the Patent Department of Arochi and Lindner’s Mexico office since 2001. She is a trained Chemist with more than 15 years of experience in patent practice focusing in the chemical, health care and pharmaceutical industries.

Georgina has a substantial experience as a technical specialist in patent strategy; prior art searches and technical opinions on patentability of an invention; Freedom-To-Operate and non-infringement analysis; as well as patent, utility models and industrial designs prosecution including preparing patent applications, prosecuting applications at Mexican Institute of Industrial Property (IMPI) and coordinating patent prosecution abroad in foreign jurisdictions as well as answering of requirements and official actions.

Georgina holds a Bachelor of Chemistry from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México. She also has a Diploma in Intellectual and Industrial Property from the Law School of the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México.
