Giovana joined Arochi & Lindner Mexico in 2020 as an Associate in the Foreign Trademark department. Her professional career comprises more than 5 years of experience in contracts and intellectual property matters. She has extensive experience in the protection of intellectual property rights for leading companies in the entertainment and roadway sign sectors as well as in the implementation of business processes; reviewing and drafting commercial contracts; trademark registration; creating strategies for trademark protection; supervising and monitoring matters in the Trademark Offices of different countries; providing legal advisory services on intellectual property and contractual matters

 

Giovana attained her cum laude law degree at the University of Monterrey. In addition, she completed a Master’s degree in Industrial and Intellectual Property,Competition and New Technologies in Madrid, Spain and a technical internship in Intellectual Property in Osaka, Japan. She has taken part in and attended several courses and conferences on Intellectual Property, for instance, she took part in G-TEC’s Global Technology Entrepreneurship and Commercialization program in Osaka, Japan and the Summer Course on Intellectual Property sponsored by the WIPO in Guadalajara, Jalisco.
