Luis Aguilera has over 16 years of professional experience, with more than a decade dedicated to designing and implementing effective strategies for the protection and enforcement of intellectual property rights. Since 2014, he has been part of the Enforcement team at Arochi & Lindner, where he has become a key figure in complex litigation and anti-counterfeiting actions.
He has successfully represented clients in administrative and criminal proceedings, including actions for nullity, expiration, cancellation, infringement, and provisional measures, including border measures before the Mexican Institute of Industrial Property (IMPI). He has also handled complaints before the Attorney General’s Office, nullity lawsuits before the Specialized Chamber on Intellectual Property Matters (SEPI) of the Federal Court of Administrative Justice, constitutional appeals (amparos) before Collegiate Circuit Courts and the Supreme Court of Justice, as well as domain name arbitrations before WIPO.
Luis has advised clients across a wide range of industries, including electronics, toys, entertainment, fashion, luxury goods, fast-moving consumer goods, retail, food and beverages, and sports leagues, providing innovative legal solutions and strategic negotiation support.
