Luis Aguilera is an associate of the Intellectual Property Enforcement department of Arochi & Lindner’s Mexico office since 2014. He has more than 5 years of experience developing anti-counterfeiting and anti-piracy strategies to protect and enforce intellectual property rights.

He has successfully litigated both, administrative and criminal proceedings such as intellectual property rights invalidation, forfeiting, cancelations and infringement, as well as injunction reliefs, including border measures; annulment trials; and amparo trials (constitutional proceedings for the protection of fundamental rights) before the Mexican Institute of Industrial Property (IMPI), the Federal Courts, the Mexican Attorney General’s Office, and the Mexican Supreme Court of Justice. Luis has represented clients in complex intellectual property matters in a wide range of industries including electronics, fashion and luxury goods, fast-moving consumer goods and general retailers.

Luis holds a Law Degree from the Escuela Libre de Derecho and a Master in Administrative Law from the Universidad Panamericana. He is member of the Mexican Bar Association.
