Vania Pérez is a technical specialist in the Patent Department of Arochi & Lindner, Mexico. She is a Biotechnology Engineer with professional specializations in Molecular Biology, Research Methodology and Innovation, and Biocatalysis, Bioprocesses and Genetics. She graduated from the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey.

She has experience as a technical specialist in the investigation of prior art, analysis of free exploitation and non-infringement, as well as preparation of patent applications. She has also participated in numerous intellectual property courses given by the International Patent Office (WIPO), the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), the Mexican Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AMPPI), and the Inter-American Association of Intellectual Property (ASIPI).
